Sea turtle research in Roatan, Honduras

Meredith is a MS in Natural Sciences student working on a sea turtle project. She is investigating methods for detecting magnatite in embryonic Olive Ridley (Lepidochelys olivacea) sea turtles. Her goal is to provide definitive methods to help answer the question of magnetic detection in hatchling sea turtles.
